About DataParade

DataParade is a diagram-first approach to privacy and security risk assessments. Product and engineering teams already spend a lot of time diagramming their designs. DataParade lets you turn those diagrams directly into privacy and security risk assessments, saving time and shifting privacy and security left in the process.

Our mission

To shift privacy and security left by giving product and engineering teams the tools to build privacy and security controls into their designs from the very first sketch, and streamline privacy and security reviews in the process.

How to use DataParade

Create a processing activity

Create a processing activity to set the context for your data flow diagram. Populate as many privacy and security properties as you can—you can update them any time.

Draw a data flow diagram

Diagram how data moves across your assets. Assign shapes to catalog items or create new assets on the fly. Every arrow becomes a rich data transfer with privacy and security fields. Add actors for people and service accounts, network boundaries for DMZs and zones, and third parties for egress outside your perimeter.

Run risk assessments

Run assessments on your diagram: open Security Risk Assessment for configurable rules, Privacy Impact Assessment to auto-fill a PIA template and spot gaps, plus AI insights and threat modeling where available.
